Jaymie L. Einhorn

Jaymie L. Einhorn is a 1980 graduate of Brandeis University.  She received her law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1983.

As a trial attorney at Peltz & Walker since 1988, Ms. Einhorn specializes in representing physicians and hospitals in all areas of medicine and surgery, as well as dentists and podiatrists, in complex medical/dental/podiatric malpractice actions.  In her defense of medical malpractice and hospital liability litigation, Ms. Einhorn has handled cases involving birth injuries, failure to diagnose and/or treat breast, lung and cervical cancers, orthopedic surgery, urologic injuries, plastic surgery, loss of eyesight, brain aneurysms, anesthesia-related injuries, cardiology as well as other areas of medicine.  She has also successfully defended public officers and entities in municipal liability matters, and manufacturers/distributers in products liability actions. Ms. Einhorn has additionally achieved favorable outcomes in defending federal civil rights and discrimination actions under U.S.C. Section 1983.

Following law school, Ms. Einhorn became associated with in-house counsel for American International Group, for whom she tried general liability actions and specialized in the defense of construction site accidents.

Ms. Einhorn is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey and before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey.  She is a member of the New York State Medical Malpractice Defense Bar.
