Wendy C. Tripodi graduated from Boston University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science in nursing, and then went on to obtain a Master of Arts in psychiatric mental health nursing from Catholic University in 1980. After a successful career in administrative nursing, she entered New York Law School and received her law degree in 1990. During the 1990's Ms. Tripodi was associated with the Dallas, Texas, law firm of Strasberger and Price. There, she defended hospitals and doctors in medical malpractice actions and participated in the defense of mass torts, including breast implant and Phen-Phen litigation. She later became associated with the New York office of Baron and Budd, P.C., a Texas law firm, and worked primarily in environmental law, asbestos litigation, and medical malpractice. Ms. Tripodi is admitted to practice law in New York, Connecticut and Texas. She is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association and The Columbian Lawyers Association.
