If you are a physician or other medical care provider and you receive a letter from the Offices of Professional Medical Conduct or the Office of Professional Discipline, you had better pay attention. What these letters mean is that they are investigating you for a claim or an allegation of unprofessional conduct. This can have serious, long-term, and adverse impact on your medical license, practice, and ability to earn money. You cannot go this by yourself.
